Are you planning your Barbados getaway? Here’s a list of what’s new in Barbados!

Nikki Beach

Nikki Beach, which opened this winter, is the first luxury beach club to touch the shores of Barbados. Located adjacent to Port Ferdinand, this 1.4 acres of property includes a restaurant, pool, beach access with oceanfront lounging and entertainment. This beach club is already a favourite among locals and visitors alike and continues to increase in popularity with each passing day.

13/59 Restaurant

The now reopened 13/59 Restaurant at Port Ferdinand brings “an urban craft style restaurant with a touch of old world charm to the beautiful island of Barbados.” Take a journey on the French Riviera and discover authentic French Cuisine with a meditterannian twist. Open Tuesdays to Sundays from 5PM to 9 PM. Experience intimate dockside dining for two or a private dining experience for large parties. 13/59 Restaurant and Bar Lounge at Port Ferdinand welcomes you.

Likrish Food Tours Barbados

These relatively new Likrish Food Tours combine Barbadian history and local foods. Persons are guided on a unique walking tour of Bridgetown, where they learn the history of the island and make several stops to eat savoury local cuisine and learn of their origins. This exciting adventure is ideal for people who want to experience Barbados like a local.

Hugos Restaurant

Located along the beachfront of Queen’s Street, Speightstown, St. Peter is the newly opened Hugos Restaurant Barbados. At this restaurant, cooking is viewed as art and each dish is treated as such. With a wide range of delectable offerings on the menu, along with an excellent ocean view location, it’s not hard to understand why Hugos is in high demand.

The Top Deck Barbados

The Top Deck is the brain child of Barbados born Chef Jason Howard. Chef Jason is popularly known as a semi-finalist in the UK Master Chef Professional, where he proudly prepared Caribbean dishes. This restaurant is also located in Speightstown, St. Peter and is scheduled to officially open its doors on Valentine’s Day 2018, offering a Caribbean influenced set 7 course menu and a sushi bar inspired by Barbados. As the opening date draws closer, anticipation for the savoury offerings increases.
